Riley (Achilles) had his 21-day practice window opened by the Packers on Wednesday, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
Analysis:Riley has been on the active/PUP list since Aug. 31 while continuing to recover from a torn Achilles tendon. The defensive lineman made his return to practice Wednesday, logging a limited session to open the week. With Javon Hargrave (Achilles) done for the season, Riley's return to action will be a welcomed one, whenever that may be.
