Barre-Boulet (undisclosed) has been activated off injured reserve and placed on waivers Wednesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Analysis:Barre-Boulet had 26 goals and 70 points in 70 regular-season outings with AHL Colorado in 2025-26. The 29-year-old is expected to spend the bulk of this season in the minors, but he might get a stint or two with the Sharks if San Jose runs into injury issues.
