Brown (knee) practiced Wednesday and has a "real shot" to play Saturday at Texas, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
Analysis:This is another positive step for one of Florida's top wide receivers after he previously carried a questionable tag. Brown's potential return would bolster the Gators' passing game after his two-game absence, during which UF lost badly to Missouri and South Carolina. Perhaps the SEC availability report will clarify Brown's status before the Florida-Texas game.
