Edvinsson (contract dispute) is on the Red Wings' injured, non-roster list, per the NHL media site Wednesday.
Analysis:Edvinsson is continuing to hold out for a new contract as a restricted free agent, with no clear end in sight. A trade could materialize at some point, though he would still need to agree to a new contract before returning to action. In 2025-26, Edvinsson recorded nine goals and 16 assists in 72 regular-season contests.
