Johnston (illness) won't travel to Colorado for Wednesday's game versus the Avalanche, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis:Johnston hadn't missed a game in his career prior to Tuesday, but the illness will cost him consecutive contests. The 23-year-old center hasn't been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Blackhawks. Expect the Stars to roll with 11 forwards and seven defensemen again Wednesday.
