Bittle (foot) is still in a walking boot, but he has a follow-up appointment Wednesday and could ditch the boot if all goes well, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis:Bittle can presumably be ruled out for the remainder of the preseason as he works his way back to full health. The big man was spotted in a walking boot in early September and remains without a clear timetable for a return to game action.
