Brown (shoulder) is back at practice and throwing the ball, per David Eickholt of 247Sports.com.
Analysis:Brown is reportedly not quite 100% and is still working his way back, but he's certainly taking steps to return to the field. However, Iowa's offensive coordinator Tim Lester said Tuesday that he won't commit to naming a QB1 going forward after Jeremy Hecklinski performed well in Brown's stead against Washington, tossing for three touchdowns and 202 yards on 14-of-19 passing.
