Analysis:Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester wouldn't commit to a starting quarterback as the Hawkeyes enjoy a Week 7 bye. That checks out, as in the absence of Brown on Saturday against Washington, Jeremy Hecklinski tossed three touchdowns on 74% completion in Iowa's best passing game all season. Iowa has until Oct. 24 at Minnesota sort out its quarterback situation.
