Hayes contributed 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-4 FT) and two rebounds across 15 minutes in Monday's 119-109 preseason win over the Spurs.
Analysis:Hayes appears to be the favorite to start for the Jazz this season while Jusuf Nurkic (foot) is sidelined. That said, Utah could mix and match based on matchups and deploy Ace Bailey in the first unit at times, with Jaren Jackson serving as the starting center.
