Talbot will guard the crease at home against the Panthers on Tuesday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Analysis:Talbot stopped 20 of 22 shots in a win over the Penguins on Friday, his only appearance of the 2026-27 campaign. Firmly entrenched as the No. 2 option in Columbus, the 39-year-old backstop would need to significantly outplay Jet Greaves in order to take over as the starter.
