Garand will be between the home pipes for Tuesday's tilt versus Tampa Bay, per Jim Cerny of NHL.com.
Analysis:Garand has looked solid to start the season, posting a 2-1-0 record, 1.20 GAA and one shutout. With Igor Shesterkin (knee) out for the season and Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) still a month from returning, the Rangers will have to turn the crease over to Garand for the time being. If he continues to perform well, Garand could secure his spot as the No. 1 option the rest of the way.
