Milivojevic was 22-for-26 passing for 196 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 38-37 overtime loss to Illinois.
Analysis:Despite the loss, Milivojevic had a very nice outing against the Fighting Illini, completing nearly 85 percent of his passes for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns without a turnover. The 6-foot-3 quarterback connected with running back Jaziun Patterson on a six-yard touchdown toss in the second quarter, bringing the Spartans within 10 points at the time, before finding receiver Fredrick Moore on a 24-yard scoring strike in the fourth frame to bring Michigan State within seven. It was an encouraging bounceback performance as Milivojevic found the end zone for the first time since Week 2 against Eastern Michigan. A home matchup against Northwestern awaits on Saturday.
