Eshelman (undisclosed) has been named Washington State's starting gunslinger ahead of Week 7 at Oregon State, per Greg Woods of The Spokane Spokesman-Review.
Analysis:Eshelman has yet to throw a pass this season, but he'll trot out with the starters Saturday in Corvallis as Caden Pinnick has lost the Cougars' QB1 gig. The second-year quarterback Eshelman will see just his second taste of collegiate action against the Beavers.
