Haugh has been named the SEC's Preseason Player of the Year, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Analysis:This comes as little surprise. Haugh broke out for the Gators last season, averaging 17.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks on 46/33/74 shooting splits. He returns to Gainesville for his senior season as Florida's centerpiece, and he should be poised for another monster year as he tries to get the Gators back to the Final Four and ultimately, another national title.
