Joelinton (thigh)is on the bench for Monday's game against Coventry City.
Analysis:Joelinton is ready to make his long-awaited season debut for the Magpies after being sidelined since preseason with a thigh problem. He'll add much-needed midfield depth for the Magpies, though for now he'll be a bench option only. He could be in line for his first minutes of the campaign if Newcastle need a creative spark in the middle of the park as the game goes on, though.
