Duchene will be out for approximately three months after undergoing surgery to repair a core injury, the team announced Monday.
Analysis:The Stars placed Duchene on long-term injured reserve just before the start of the 2026-27 campaign. It remains unclear when he will return, but his new timeline could keep him out until at least mid-January. Duchene posted 16 goals, 45 points and 89 shots on net in 57 regular-season appearances for Dallas in 2025-26.
