Holl was recalled from AHL Hershey on Monday.
Analysis:Holl was sent to the minors ahead of the regular season, but he'll rejoin the NHL club to provide additional depth after Matt Roy (lower body) was placed on injured reserve and Rasmus Sandin (knee) was placed on long-term injured reserve. Holl made nine regular-season appearances with the Blues last year and recorded a goal, an assist, six PIM, five hits and five blocked shots while averaging 15:40 of ice time.
