The Raiders elevated Thompkins from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Analysis:Jalen Nailor (concussion) won't play against the Patriots on Sunday, so the Raiders added depth to their wide receiver group by bringing Thompkins up from the practice squad. Thompkins also has experience as a returner, so he could contribute on special teams if he's active for Sunday's game.
