Head coach Josh Heupel indicated in a pregame interview that he would prefer to keep Brandon (shoulder) on the bench Saturday, Rick Russo of WVLT reports.
Analysis:It was already announced that George MacIntyre would start over Brandon on Saturday, but it appears the freshman will likely only be available in an emergency situation or if things go really south. Brandon has seen mixed results under center so far this season, so a good performance from MacIntyre on Saturday could lead to some questios about the starting job moving forward.
