The Colts placed Key (hamstring) on injured reserve Saturday.
Analysis:Key sustained a hamstring injury against the Colts in Week 4, and the injury is severe enough for the veteran defensive lineman to warrant a stint on IR. He'll be required to miss at least four games, so the earliest Key can return is Week 9 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Nov. 8. Laiatu Latu, Jaylahn Tuimoloau and rookie fifth-rounder George Gumbs are all in line for more defensive snaps in Key's absence.
