Koski (quadriceps) completed the last training session and could be included in Alaves' squad for Saturday's match against Atletico Madrid after his injury proved less serious than first feared, according to Marca. Coach Quique Sanchez Flores said Thursday. "Well, let's wait until tomorrow first. Because the lad is making progress in his own way; he's doing well. We're getting good news,"
Analysis:Koski was initially expected to spend several weeks on the sidelines, but tests on his right quadriceps issue have provided a more optimistic prognosis ahead of the clash against Atletico Madrid. The defender remains an unconfirmed inclusion for Alaves, as the club plans to announce their final roster only hours before kick-off. Coach Quique Sanchez Flores intends to exercise caution, emphasizing that he will avoid unnecessary risks. If he makes the matchday list, he could begin the game among the substitutes, and Nicolas Valentini could step into the defence if they stick with a three-man back line.
