Diallo (undisclosed) is expected to be included in the squad for Saturday's Premier League clash against Tottenham after making progress in his recovery, according to coach Michael Carrick. "Amad has done a little bit of training"
Analysis:Diallo has yet to make an appearance this season after spending the opening weeks of the campaign recovering from an undisclosed injury. However, manager Carrick's latest comments suggest the attacker is finally approaching a return to competitive action after previously being considered some distance away from full fitness. Given his lengthy absence, Diallo could initially be eased back into action off the bench rather than immediately challenging for a starting role. Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko remain among United's primary attacking options, but Diallo's expected return should provide additional depth and flexibility in the final third.
