Zuber will undergo UCL surgery with an internal brace on his right elbow Monday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:The internal brace procedure comes with a shorter rehab timetable than a full Tommy John surgery, but Zuber nonetheless could be sidelined until the 2028 season. Zuber posted a 5.67 ERA in 2026 thanks in large part to 10 home runs allowed in 39.2 innings, but a 42:11 K:BB offered more promise.
