Miley (undisclosed) is expected to be available for Monday's clash against Coventry City after recovering from a knock sustained during international duty with England U21, according to coach Matthias Jaissle, per Chronicle Live. "They returned but not everyone was in today. We allowed some of them an extra day so tomorrow they are fully back."
Analysis:Miley appears to have avoided a significant injury after withdrawing from England U21 duty as a precaution during the international break. The midfielder is now expected to be available for Newcastle's return to Premier League action against Coventry, providing manager Matthias Jaissle with another option in midfield and defense. With Amar Dedic and Valentino Livramento still uncertain due to their respective injuries, Miley could also be considered for a starting role at right-back if neither is cleared to feature.
