Hernandez (leg) is available for Friday's clash against Malaga after recovering from a minor muscular issue, according to coach Manolo Gonzalez. "Hernandez arrived with a knock, but he's now fit to play tomorrow."
Analysis:Hernandez has recovered from the discomfort in his left obturator muscle that forced him to withdraw from Spain U21 duty. The attacking midfielder returned to full training Wednesday and is now cleared to feature against Malaga, though his starting status remains uncertain following the brief interruption. Hernandez has been an important creative contributor for Espanyol this season, recording four assists.
