Josan was spotted participating in team training Thursday despite recent off-field issues following reports of his detention over an alleged domestic abuse complaint, according to Ismael of Todo Alicante.
Analysis:Josan appears to be continuing his regular training routine despite the recent controversy surrounding his personal circumstances, with the club captain working alongside his teammates ahead of the upcoming clash against Celta Vigo. The midfielder and his partner previously issued a joint statement denying that any judicial proceedings were open against him, though Elche have yet to officially address his availability for upcoming fixtures. His participation in training suggests he remains in contention for selection, having primarily featured off the bench this season while recently recording his first assist of the campaign against Real Madrid.
