Josan's availability for Elche's upcoming matches is uncertain following reports that he was detained after a complaint alleging domestic abuse, though the midfielder and his partner subsequently issued a joint statement denying that any judicial proceedings are currently open against him, according to Nacho Labarga of Marca.
Analysis:Josan's situation remains unclear following conflicting reports surrounding his personal circumstances, with no official indication from Elche regarding his availability for upcoming fixtures. The club captain has primarily featured off the bench this season and recently recorded his first goal contribution of the campaign, assisting Fer Nino during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Real Madrid. Any potential impact on his playing status remains speculative at this stage, with further clarification needed before determining whether he'll be available for selection.
