Bassey will start in Wednesday's preseason game against the Trail Blazers, Jason Quick of The Athletic reports.
Analysis:Kristaps Porzingis (illness) remains out indefinitely, and both Draymond Green and Al Horford did not travel for Wednesday's exhibition, so Bassey will draw the start. He could see quality minutes with the Warriors resting nine players, and he's capable of racking up the boards when given the opportunity.
