Smith (thumb) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Buccaneers, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Analysis:Smith, who was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, finished Week 5 prep with a full practice Wednesday. The questionable tag gives him a chance to be activated from IR and make his 2026 debut Thursday. Smith's return would likely result in T.J. Bass reverting to a depth role on the offensive line.
