Suggs (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's preseason game against the Grizzlies, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Analysis:Suggs has been under the weather for a few days and will miss Orlando's preseason opener, along with Anthony Black (ankle), which sends second-year guard Jase Richardson into the starting lineup. Suggs will have three more chances to suit up during the preseason, with his first opportunity coming Sunday in Cleveland.
