Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that Taylor (thumb) will practice Wednesday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
Analysis:Taylor has missed the past two games with his thumb issue, but his involvement in practice to kick off Week 5 prep gives him a good chance at playing Sunday versus the Browns. Though he led Jets tight ends in snaps in the team's first two games before missing time with the injury, Taylor is expected to take more of a back seat behind rookie first-round pick Kenyon Sadiq upon returning to action. After undergoing hernia surgery during the offseason, Sadiq missed considerable practice time during training camp and was eased in with a small role to begin the season, but he's emerged as a key part of the passing game over the past two weeks with a combined 7-105-1 receiving line on 12 targets.
