Head coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Mitchell (finger) remains week-to-week, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis:Mitchell has sat out the Jets' last two games and looks on his way to missing a third straight contest Sunday against the Browns. In Mitchell's absence over the previous two weeks, Isaiah Williams and practice-squad member Sterling Shepard have been rounding out three-receiver sets behind Garrett Wilson, but the Jets could also get Tim Patrick (groin) back from injured reserve this week after his 21-day practice window was opened Wednesday.
