Woodard (ankle) is physically doing well going into East Carolina's preseason, according to 247Sports.
Analysis:Woodard talked to a media member Wednesday about his health. "I'm doing great," he said. "I feel as bouncy and fast as ever. Last year was definitely tough." Last year, Woodard played just five games, with separate injuries rendering him out of at least as many matchups. The latter injury, an ankle issue, ended his 2025-26 season early.
