Powell finished with nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 13 minutes during Tuesday's 124-90 preseason win over the Hornets.
Analysis:Powell didn't commit a turnover and made the most of his limited opportunities, connecting on four of his six attempts from the field. The young wing will look to use the preseason to strengthen his case for a spot in Brooklyn's rotation after a tough 2025-26 campaign.
