Fidalgo featured in all four of Mexico's matches during the international break, starting against Peru and Chile while totaling 210 minutes without a goal or assist.
Analysis:Fidalgo gained valuable competitive minutes with Mexico after seeing little action at Betis to begin the season. The midfielder returns without any reported physical concerns, but his increased international workload is unlikely to immediately change his position in manager Manuel Pellegrini's rotation. He has played just 31 minutes in La Liga without making a start, leaving him likely to remain a substitute option for Sunday's clash against Osasuna.
