Budimir totaled 59 minutes across two appearances during Croatia's four matches over the international break, failing to record a goal or an assist.
Analysis:Budimir played a reduced role for Croatia, appearing off the bench against the Czech Republic and Spain before seeing no action in the final two matches of the window. The limited workload means he returns to Osasuna relatively fresh despite losing ground to Igor Matanovic and Dion Beljo for international minutes. His club role remains far more secure after scoring five goals across seven La Liga appearances this season, and he should remain the focal point of the attack for Sunday's trip to Betis.
