Sagapolutele is in the concussion protocol and is uncertain to play Saturday against Virginia Tech, Kenzo Fukuda of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Analysis:The signal-caller was initially cleared to return after halftime of the UNLV loss, but head coach Tosh Lupoi chose to hold him out. The next few days will be key to determining whether Sagapolutele will be able to play Saturday, but if he's not ready to play, look for Jackson Brousseau, who tossed for 200 yards and two touchdowns in relief last week, to draw the start.
