Saunders was cut from the Texans' practice squad with an injury settlement Tuesday.
Analysis:Saunders signed with Houston's practice squad Sept. 29, but he will now return to the open market. The wide receiver has yet to make his NFL debut after going undrafted in April, and his next opportunity will likely come with another team's practice squad.
