Freeny (undisclosed) isn't currently with the Bruins as he takes a leave of absence due to a medical issue, per Connor Morrissette of 247Sports.com.
Analysis:It's unclear what Freeny is dealing with, but there's reportedly a chance the guard doesn't play this season at all. Freeny spent last season with the Bruins, averaging 2.0 points and 1.6 rebounds off the bench across 11.0 minutes per game. His absence hurts UCLA's depth, but shouldn't impact their rotations all that much.
