Vergara logged 84 minutes in his first start for Italy on Monday before being taken off with a calf injury which will keep him out a month.
Analysis:Vergara led the match with five tackles before being replaced in the 84th minute. It was the 23-year-old's first international start following a debut off the bench against France on Friday. The winger has scored a goal and an assist across three Serie A appearances for Napoli this season in just 130 minutes. Nevertheless, Vergara was forced off the pitch late as he picked up a right calf injury and will be missing around a month of Italian top-flight action.
