Clanton fired a nine-under 62 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish 21-under and tied for seventh.
Analysis:Clanton's closing 62, which included seven birdies and an eagle, marked the low for Sunday's final round at the Black Desert Resort where he ultimately ranked third among the field in SG: Approach and T4 in scrambling for the week. The T7 is Clanton's first top-10 finish since March's Puerto Rico Open, though he rises just 14 spots to No. 136 in the FedExCup Fall standings as a result. Nonetheless, he's now gained strokes with his irons in six of seven starts dating back to the ISCO Championship.
