Williams finished with 13 points (4-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and three steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 127-103 preseason win over the Kings.
Analysis:Williams drew the start with Austin Reaves (ankle) and Collin Sexton (lower body) unavailable and made a strong impression on both ends of the floor. The 25-year-old is competing with Jake LaRavia and several other wings for a prominent role, and his combination of perimeter shooting and defense should help his case.
