Scamacca scored Italy's opening goal in Monday's 3-1 Nations League win over Turkey.
Analysis:Scamacca opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a volley off the underside of the crossbar. This ended a three-year national team scoring drought for the forward. The 27-year-old started ahead of Francesco Pio Esposito, as the latter then replaced him in the second half. Scamacca will now return to Atalanta, hoping to pick up consistent form and help Italy again during the next international break.
