Sowell gathered in 5 of 12 targets for 68 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 34-13 loss against Northwestern.
Analysis:Sowell was one of Penn State's only bright spots among an offense in disarray. Although Rocco Becht found success with Sowell, the team needs to get the running game and defense back in order to make things easier for Becht, Sowell, and the rest of the passing game.
