Komolafe accrued 25 carries for 188 yards and one touchdown and caught their only target for 14 yards during Friday's 34-13 victory over Penn State.
Analysis:Following a tough outing in which he produced seven yards on six carries against Indiana, Komolafe went nuclear against the Nittany Lions, running for a career-high 188 yards on an impressive 7.5 YPC. The 5-foot-11 senior managed to find the end zone on a one-yard plunge in the third quarter, extending the insurmountable Northwestern lead. Komolafe and fellow running back Joseph Himon combined for an incredible 350 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, though Komolafe saw the bulk of the rushing attempts on the day. A home mathcup against Ball State should provide another opportunity for Komolafe to shine on Saturday.
