Himon logged 10 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns and hauled in 0 of 1 targets for zero yards during Friday's 34-13 win over Penn State.
Analysis:On a day in which the Wildcats absolutely gashed Penn State on the ground, Himon totaled 162 yards on an incredible 16.2 YPC. The 5-foot-9 senior found the end zone on a pair of touchdown scampers int eh second quarter, from 38 yards and 11 yards out, respectively, to help build a 24-7 Northwestern lead at halftime. Himon was outpaced in both yards and rushing attempts by fellow running back Caleb Komolafe on the day, but Himon's undeniable explosiveness and big-play ability should continue to provide opportunities moving forward. A home matchup against Ball State should provide such an opportunity on Saturday.
