Thomas had 12 rushes for 56 yards and hauled in all two targets for 14 yards during Saturday's 20-14 victory over Michigan.
Analysis:Thomas once again led the way on the ground for the Golden Gophers, outpacing fellow running back Darius Taylor while maintaining a solid level of efficiency (4.7 YPC). The 5-foot-8 junior has seen an increased level of involvement in the running game recently and has capitalized, running for 256 yards and a touchdown on an impressive 7.1 YPC over his last three games. Taylor did manage to find the end zone twice against the Wolverines and was instrumental in the victory, but Thomas should continue to see opportunities moving forward. A road matchup against Purdue awaits on Saturday.
