Buchanan has left Canada's camp due to a lower-body injury suffered on a tackle in the match against Peru and is a doubt for Saturday's clash against Real Madrid, according to Ismael Mateu of El Periodico Mediterraneo.
Analysis:Buchanan had become an important piece of Villarreal's attacking rotation, and the extent of the problem has not been confirmed. That leaves his availability for Saturday's trip to Real Madrid uncertain. He has yet to score or assist this season but has 11 shots, eight chances created and 24 crosses in seven appearances.
