Houser was 21-for-37 passing for 225 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 24-17 defeat versus Purdue. He also had eight rushes for 42 yards.
Analysis:Despite the loss, Houser accounted for his fourth multi-score game of the season while recording a season-high 42 rushing yards against the Boilermakers. The 6-foot-3 quarterback connected with receivers Collin Dixon and Ty Robinson on touchdown tosses of seven and two yards in the second and third quarters, respectively. Houser has now completed less than 60 percent of his passes in back-to-back games and will hope for a better outing against his former team when the Illini travel to East Lansing on Saturday.
