Gonzales was 6-for-14 passing for 73 yards and one interception during Saturday's 59-8 defeat versus Memphis.
Analysis:Gonzales extended his interception streak against Memphis, tossing his seventh of the season. For the second consecutive game, the quarterback completed fewer than ten passes and fell short of 100 passing yards. Those offensive struggles have been evident for Charlotte, a unit that has totaled just 15 points over its last two games. Gonzales surprisingly played three full quarters before giving way to Jaylen White, who finished out the contest. It appears to be only a matter of time before a change is made under center, though Gonzales remains the starter for now.
